AIEEE 2010

AIEEE 2010 is just 2 days away and most of you must be very tensed and some of you might have given up even before you are in the battlefield planning to repeat(waste) and extra year.

If you have a strategy then you surely will score more than the average guys and with some extra caution you can crack AIEEE.

So here are few tips and tricks to crack AIEEE 2010.

Revise Formulas:
These 2 days are strictly for revising the formulas and basic problems. In chemistry it is important to go through all the named reactions. Please do not start any new topic now. It is of no use.

Relax :
Remember that exams like these are opportunities to prove yourself.Be relaxed and constantly keep reminding yourself that you can do it.Remember that "Surviving is the only glory in a War" and it is the race to the top so be ready with a cool head.

Read the Instructions Carefully:
Most of them screw up the exams just because they do not read the instructions properly or just don't give any importance to them. Spend some time initially just for these instructions else you might spend a lot more time on the lesser weightage questions.

The GOOD, The Bad and The Ugly:
The good questions are those which are easy for all. AIEEE paper contains 50-60% of easy questions. Your main focus must be to attempt all of these and get complete marks. Before starting any subject just go through for 5 mins in that particular subject and look for easy/less than a minute type of questions and answer them.

The Bad questions are those which might be a bit tougher or a bit trickier or worse lengthy but you can still attempt them - Your paper will have 20-30% of such questions. Your focus should be to attempt some of them and not spend more than 2 mins on any question ( whether it is easy or tough).

The Ugly ones are those problems which are outright tricky - they will make you fall in trap - first you think they are easy - you start them - and after sometime you realise that it is a tough problem or a very lengthy one - you still know that you can solve it - but it will take some more time - so for attempting one question you end up wasting a lot more time.

The best way to avoid such scenarios is to have a self imposed restriction of maximum of 2 minutes per question.

OMR Sheet- What?
I hope that most of you know what an OMR sheet is. What you must also remember is that you mark the correct answers in the OMR sheet i.e. completely darken the appropriate circle. Do not start darkening after every question. It is simply wastage of time. And don't wait till the end you might commit many mistakes just because you are tensed.

The ideal thing to do is to mark after the end of every side of the question paper.

Forget the World - Concentrate on the Exam:
Mobiles, Calculators, Log tables , sheets of paper and nothing else matters. Just carry your pen(black), pencil and your hall ticket along with one identity proof photocopy(xerox) like your 10 certificate.

Never Give up:
And I end it with the famous dialogue from one of the best movies ever
"Hope is a good think, maybe the best of the things and no good thing ever dies".
